Come and celebrate the 250^th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth with a day of talks, readings and music at the Jubilee Hall, interspersed with films, art, poetry, food and drink, in locations all around the town.

At the Jubilee Hall, talks include Nick Clark from the Red House, who will investigate an opera planned by Benjamin Britten based on Mansfield Park and Kate Drayton on Jane Austen at the seaside.  Music from Jane Austen’s own songbook and a read-a-thon of Pride and Prejudice.  All events at the Jubilee Hall are free and open to all.
