Terezija Hirs

Hall Manager (maternity cover).

Terezija has been working in the performing arts for many years. Originally from Croatia she has lived most of her life in Berlin where she developed her love and passion for music and the arts.

After moving to the UK she worked for Britten Pears Arts at Snape Maltings promoting the music programme and leading international PR for the Aldeburgh Festival. Terezija has always been connected to Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall and the town.

It is her pleasure managing this iconic venue and serving the community by providing an excellent all-year programme of events.

Joanna Seifert

Currently on maternity leave, Joanna has worked at Aldeburgh Music, now Britten-Pears Arts, in various roles as well as in Residencies and the Opera Department before taking on freelance producer roles.

She also worked with the Roman River Festival in Colchester, Mahogany Opera’s Snappy Operas Project, Solomon’s Knott as well as more local organisations such as Jubilee Opera and Prometheus Orchestra.

Dan Whitfield

Dan is well into his third decade by the North Sea, having previously worked with concert halls and orchestras in Edinburgh and Tyneside.  He was part of the team that programmed the opening celebrations and inaugural seasons of Sage Gateshead, the Norman Foster Partners-designed ‘Musikverein on the Tyne’. Most recently he was Head of Artistic Planning at Snape Maltings (now Britten-Pears Arts) for 14 years.  When not at gigs real or virtual, or talking to musicians, talent management companies, hall hirers and colleagues he’s to be found coaching Framlingham Town U12’s football team, gardening, or trying to improve his woeful batting average with the mighty Worlingworth CC.
