In its second Friday Lunchtime Concert, the Astatine Trio performs a lively and exuberant work from the only female member of Les Six – amongst characterful Haydn and classic Mendelssohn.

Formed at the Royal College of Music in 2021, the Astatine Trio was unanimously awarded first prize at the 2022 Senior Intercollegiate Piano Trio Competition as the youngest entrants, with an average age of 18. Since then, it has gone on to win many other prizes and competitions, as well as performing in venues across the UK and abroad, including its Wigmore Hall debut in May 2022.
