The Music Department at Ipswich School nurtures a genuine love of music in an environment where every pupil can thrive, and those with exceptional commitment can truly excel. This special concert celebrates the outstanding achievements of our young musicians, whose dedication has earned national recognition at the Pro Corda Chamber Music Festival, with several groups reaching the finals and two quartets winning their age categories.

Chamber music lies at the heart of Ipswich School’s instrumental provision, running alongside two full symphony orchestras. It plays a vital role in developing musicianship, fostering collaboration, creativity, and expressive performance. This concert offers a wonderful opportunity to hear some of the most talented young performers in the region presenting a programme of well-known chamber works. Join us for what promises to be an inspiring afternoon of exceptional music-making.
